50th Anniversary
Poland’s Millennium of Christianity

The Polish Museum of America invites you to visit its exhibition: 50th Anniversary Poland’s Millennium of Christianity Chicagoland Observances, now open through winter 2017.

In 1966, Chicagoland Polonia came together to celebrate the historical birth of Poland through a series of elegant banquets, spectacular pageantry, and religious masses. Based on archival documents and photographs from the collections of Bishop Alfred L. Abramowicz, who served as the Chairman of Poland’s Millennium of Christianity – Chicagoland Observance Executive Committee, and Sig Sakowicz, the committee’s press director – the exhibit focuses on the collaborative work of hundreds.

Group tours welcome – To schedule, call 773-384-3352 ext. 2109 or email Info@PolishMuseumOfAmerica.org
