Dear Friend of the PMA –
Like many cultural nonprofits, the Polish Museum of America is facing serious challenges in these unprecedented times. Thus far, operations have been funded by various grants. As the PMA nears the end of this funding, we turn to those who have so generously supported the PMA’s mission for 85 years.
The PMA looks to Polish Americans in Chicago and across the US, as well as anyone with an interest in Polish and Polonian culture and heritage, to protect our shared stories and treasures for future generations. We are asking you to contribute to our biggest general operations fundraiser of the year – the 2020 PMA Gala, now rescheduled as a virtual event, to be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, when Dr. Izabela Roman and Holy Trinity Mission will be honored with the Polish Spirit Award, in the individual and organization categories, respectively.
You can be part of this by the following:
- APPEALS – Show your generous support of the PMA; levels from $25 to $10,000; banner recognition for 4 top categories; all donors will be proudly acknowledged in the Program Book. Thanks to a generous, anonymous PMA supporter – the first $25,000 raised via the appeal will guarantee a $25,000 matching donation!
- ADS – Businesses and organizations can show their patronage too

The Polish Museum of America is moving forward through this most difficult time. As an institution, we are being challenged with the enormous financial effects of Covid-19. We are turning to all of our supporters to help ensure that we continue in our mission of Preserving the Past to Benefit the Future.
