Originally from Krakow, Poland, I studied at the Faculty of Painting and earned a Master’s Degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In Chicago, I completed a specialist program in the field of graphic design (CTS Computer Training Sources - Graphic Design Specialist Program) and the Microsoft Office GOISA program and worked professionally for printing companies, designing magazines and book covers. Using the technique of computer graphics, I also create digital images. In my paintings, I use oil paints and watercolors. To express my own interpretations, I use color and light to capture both the images I paint and create in digital arts. I have shown about ten individual exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. I took part in exhibitions organized by the Polish Arts Club of Chicago and the ArtPo group, and hosted at the Chicago Public Library and Dank-House German Cultural Center. I am a long time artist member of the Oak Park Art League Gallery, and took part in the exhibitions of the Niles Artisan Guild, Art Gallery Kafe, and Polish Center of Wisconsin in Franklin, WI. I have received awards, mainly in exhibitions at the Oak Park Art League and the Polish Arts Club. I also worked on the Commission Board of the Polish Arts Club. I also received awards in online arts contests. Since 2015, I have been painting in watercolor and drawing pieces from collections that are in the Polish Museum of America in Chicago. I appreciate the great importance of the Polish Museum of America in preserving and promoting Polish culture, and these works based on the Polish Museum are important to me.
