Costume Room
The Polish Museum of America is pleased to announce that the Costume Room modernization project was completed in December 2021. This project was made possible with a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland within the "Cooperation with Polish Community and Poles Abroad 2021 – Infrastructure for Polish Community Abroad" grant competition. This project included room renovation and modernization, as well as the purchase and installation of furniture.
The Costume Room houses historical costumes, original military uniforms of World War I and II, uniforms of Polish paramilitary organizations, folk costumes, theatrical costumes, as well as antique textiles and other artifacts. The costumes stored in the PMA are of great historical and educational value. These costumes are presented at permanent and temporary exhibitions during historic anniversaries of Poland and Polonia.

Pokój Kostiumowy
Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce ma wielką przyjemność poinformować, że projekt modernizacji Pokoju Kostiumowego został zakończony w grudniu 2021 r. Projekt ten był współfinansowany przez Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych RP w konkursie „Współpraca z Polonią i Polakami za Granicą 2021 – Infrastruktura Polonijna”. Projekt ten obejmował prace remontowo-modernizacyjne pomieszczenia oraz zakup i instalację umeblowania.
W magazynie tym przechowywane są historyczne kostiumy, oryginalne mundury wojskowe z okresu I i II wojny światowej, mundury polonijnych organizacji paramilitarnych, stroje ludowe, stroje teatralne oraz zabytkowe tekstylia i inne eksponaty. Kostiumy przechowywane w MPA mają ogromną wartość historyczną oraz edukacyjną. Stroje te prezentowane są na wystawach stałych oraz czasowych związanych z historycznymi rocznicami Polski i Polonii.
