The Polish Museum of America had the pleasure of recently welcoming Sophia Domeville, Senior Manager of the Arts Intern College Program. Over the past few years, Sophia has been a valued partner and friend, and through our collaboration with the Arts Intern Project, we’ve had the pleasure of working with many talented interns from diverse schools and backgrounds.

Thanks to this program, we expanded our reach, perspectives, and team spirit. It is with both gratitude and sadness that we acknowledge the news that the Arts Intern Project will not be continued next year. After five enriching summers hosting this remarkable group of interns in Chicago, we celebrate the legacy of this impactful partnership and the students it brought through our doors.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sophia and the Studio Institute team for their vision and dedication. We hope to see new opportunities arise locally in the future to continue this important work.

We wtorek 7 lipca gościliśmy w Muzeum Polskim w Ameryce Sophię Domeville, menadżerkę programu stażowego Arts Intern College Program w Nowym Jorku. Przez ostatnie lata Sophia była dla nas bliskim partnerem, a dzięki programowi mieliśmy zaszczyt współpracować z wieloma utalentowanymi stażystami z różnych szkół i środowisk.

Poprzez ten projekt powiększyliśmy naszą bazę skatalogowanych obiektów, poszerzyliśmy nasze kulturalne horyzonty i zbudowaliśmy silniejszy zespół. Z wdzięcznością, ale i smutkiem przyjmujemy wiadomość, że program Arts Intern nie będzie kontynuowany w przyszłym roku. Po pięciu owocnych latach w Chicago świętujemy dziedzictwo tej wyjątkowej współpracy i studentów, którzy byli jej częścią.

Serdecznie dziękujemy Sophii oraz całemu zespołowi Studio Institute za ich wizję i oddanie. Mamy nadzieję, że lokalnie powstaną nowe możliwości kontynuowania tej ważnej pracy.
