VISUAL ART EXHIBITION SPACE at the POLISH MUSEUM of AMERICA NEEDS a NEW LIGHTING SYSTEM!

In recent years, the Polish Museum of America has undergone many positive changes. With a new vision, projects follow – including presenting contemporary Polish artists creating in Poland and Chicago.

To effectively integrate a gallery space within the museum Great Hall requires some improvements. The current lighting system is the most significant challenge for artists who exhibit at the PMA, and is an essential part of the visual art presentation.

The existing light system is outdated, and there are no longer replacement parts available… it gets dark in places it shouldn’t be!

From June 9th through September 5th, 2017, the Polish Museum of America will present an exhibition of painting and photography: “Zdzisław Beksiński: A Tale Told by Shadows.” His work is experiencing a renaissance in Poland, and Latin America. This will be the first introduction of his work to an American audience.

It also presents a great opportunity to address the issue of updating and replacing the lighting system at the Polish Museum of America.
