On August 6, 2025, Richard Owsiany, President of the Polish Museum of America, and James Robaczewski, President of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America and PMA Board Chairman, traveled to Warsaw for the official inauguration of the President-Elect of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki.

The day’s proceedings began with the inauguration ceremony at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, followed by a Holy Mass at the Archcathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. The celebrations continued at the Royal Castle, where the President was invested as Grand Master of the Order of the White Eagle and the Order of Polonia Restituta. The day concluded at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square with the ceremonial assumption of command over the Polish Armed Forces.

The visit marked an important moment of engagement with the civic and ceremonial life of the Republic of Poland.

6 sierpnia 2025 roku prezes Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce, Richard Owsiany, oraz prezes Zjednoczenia Polskiego Rzymsko-Katolickiego w Ameryce i przewodniczący Zarządu MPA James Robaczewski, udali się do Warszawy na uroczystą inaugurację Prezydenta Elekta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, Karola Nawrockiego.

Obchody rozpoczęły się od ceremonii zaprzysiężenia w Sejmie RP, następnie odprawiono mszę świętą w Bazylice Archikatedralnej św. Jana Chrzciciela. Dalsza część uroczystości odbyła się na Zamku Królewskim, gdzie Prezydent został mianowany Wielkim Mistrzem Orderu Orła Białego oraz Orderu Odrodzenia Polski. Dzień zakończył się ceremonią przejęcia zwierzchnictwa nad Siłami Zbrojnymi RP na Placu Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego.

Wizyta była okazją do uczestnictwa w ważnych wydarzeniach życia obywatelskiego i ceremonialnego Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
