In observance of Veterans Day, the Polish Museum of America (PMA) and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) building will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. On this day, we pause to honor all who have served in the United States Armed Forces and reflect on their courage and dedication.

November 11 is also Poland’s Independence Day, commemorating the country’s restoration of sovereignty in 1918 after 123 years of partitions by Russia, Prussia and Austria.

Z okazji Dnia Weterana, budynek Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce (MPA) oraz Zjednoczenia Polskiego Rzymsko-Katolickiego w Ameryce (ZPRKA) będzie zamknięty we wtorek, 11 listopada. Tego dnia oddajemy hołd wszystkim, którzy służyli w Siłach Zbrojnych Stanów Zjednoczonych, oraz wspominamy ich odwagę i poświęcenie.

11 listopada to także Święto Niepodległości Polski, upamiętniające odzyskanie przez Polskę suwerenności w 1918 roku po 123 latach zaborów rosyjskich, pruskich i austriackich.
