W sobotę, 3 października, MPA odwiedzili uczniowie z polskiej szkoły im. gen. K. Pułaskiego z klas 6, 7, 8 i liceum.

Z zaciekawieniem oglądali eksponaty przedstawiające swojego patrona i bohaterów polskich na ziemi amerykańskiej. Również uczyli się o odbieraniu sztuki, że należy się głęboko przyglądać obrazowi i wyszukiwać różne, czasem ukryte, podpowiedzi do tematu obiektu. W galerii, uczniowie szukali dzieła, które najbardziej do nich przemawiało. Zwiedzili z wielkim zainteresowaniem Pokój Paderewskiego i wszystkie sale muzealne. Bardzo przyjemnie było rozmawiać z młodzieżą, która interesowała się wystawami muzealnymi, szczególnie ponieważ przewodników łączyła z nimi historia szkoły.

On Saturday, the 3rd of October, students from the Gen. K. Pułaski Polish School grades 6, 7, 8, and the first year of high school visited the PMA. They were interested to see and discuss art works related to the patron of their school as well as to learn about other Polish heroes who fought on American soil. The students learned that absorbing art requires deep observation, and searching for clues that the artist may have hidden in the work that help unlock its deeper meaning. In the Gallery the students looked for the work that spoke most deeply to each one of them. They were very interested in the Paderewski Room as well as in the rest of the galleries. It was very gratifying to lead a group of interested young people, who wanted to learn more about the exhibits, especially since the guides have a personal link to the school's history.
