On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the Polish Museum of America had the honor of hosting students from the Polish School of the 7th Kościuszko Escadrille, located by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago.

The teachers and 33 students from grades 9 and 10, were warmly welcomed by tour guides Barbara Kożuchowska and Sergio Romero. They were presented with the uniform and memorabilia of Cedric Fauntleroy, one of the founders of the 7th Kosciuszko Escadrille, and Kościuszko’s letters in the American Revolution, artifacts that were of special interest for the school. Being led by the tour guides, the students also had the opportunity to explore the museum where they showed enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. W sobotę, 10 maja 2025 roku, Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce miało zaszczyt gościć uczniów z Polskiej Szkoły im. 7. Eskadry Kościuszkowskiej przy Konsulacie Generalnym Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej w Chicago. Nauczyciele i 33 uczniów z klas 9 i 10 zostali serdecznie powitani przez przewodników, Barbarę Kożuchowską i Sergio Romero. Zaprezentowano im mundur i pamiątki Cedrica Fauntleroya, jednego z założycieli 7. Eskadry Kościuszkowskiej oraz listy Kościuszki z czasów Rewolucji Amerykańskiej - artefakty, które szczególnie zainteresowały szkołę. Prowadzeni przez przewodników, uczniowie mieli również okazję zwiedzać Muzeum, okazując entuzjazm i chęć do nauki. Serdecznie dziękujemy uczniom i nauczycielom za ich wizytę i zapraszamy na kolejne niezapomniane spotkanie.
