On August 1, 2026, Agnieszka Bastrzyk, President of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) and Chair of the Polish Museum of America Board of Directors, proudly represented our institutions during the 82nd Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising commemorative ceremony held in Algonquin, Illinois, organized by Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union.
The ceremony brought together members of the Polish-American community to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of the insurgents of Warsaw. The observance included the raising of the Polish and American flags, patriotic tributes, and a moment of remembrance for those who fought for Poland’s freedom.
The Polish Museum of America is honored to join our community in preserving the memory of the Warsaw Uprising and ensuring that the legacy of its heroes continues to inspire future generations.

1 sierpnia 2026 roku Agnieszka Bastrzyk, prezes Zjednoczenia Polskiego Rzymsko-Katolickiego w Ameryce (ZPRKA) oraz przewodnicząca Rady Dyrektorów Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce, reprezentowała nasze instytucje podczas uroczystości upamiętniających 82. rocznicę wybuchu Powstania Warszawskiego, które odbyły się w Algonquin w stanie Illinois, zorganizowanej przez Polsko-Słowiańską Federalną Unię Kredytową (PSFCU).
Uroczystość zgromadziła przedstawicieli Polonii i lokalnej społeczności, którzy wspólnie oddali hołd bohaterom Powstania Warszawskiego. W programie znalazło się m.in. uroczyste podniesienie flag Polski i Stanów Zjednoczonych, patriotyczne wystąpienia oraz chwila zadumy poświęcona tym, którzy walczyli o wolność Ojczyzny.
Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce z dumą pielęgnuje pamięć o Powstaniu Warszawskim i jego Bohaterach, przekazując ich historię kolejnym pokoleniom.
