The Polish Museum of America (PMA) had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished delegation consisting of prominent members from the Polish Community Association, representatives of leading Polish television networks, and officials from local governments in Poland.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for the PMA to showcase its rich collection of Polish cultural artifacts and historical exhibits. The delegation was able to experience firsthand the unique and diverse history of Polish Americans and their contributions to the United States. The event was a testament to the PMA's commitment to preserving and promoting Polish heritage and culture for future generations.
The Polish Museum of America (PMA) hosted a delegation composed of: President of the Polish Community Association, Mr. Dariusz Piotr Bonisławski and his associates, representatives of TVP and Polsat, as well as representatives of local governments in Poland. (Katarzyna Czyżycka - program director of the Teacher Training Center of the "Wspólnota Polska" Association, Jacek Wiśniowski - mayor of Lidzbark Warmiński, representative of Polish local government officials; Marek Zając - secretary of the International Auschwitz Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, head of Polsat Rodziny; Agnieszka Oszczyk - journalist and publicist for TVP; Zenona Bańkowska - managing director of the "Wspólnota Polska" Association, Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk - ODN SWP trainer, KLANZA trainer.) The delegation came to the USA as part of the project "Z Kopernikiem przez świat," which will be inaugurated on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Copernicus Center.
The guests who arrived at the building of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) and the headquarters of the Polish Museum of America were greeted by the president of the PMA, Richard Owsiany. Executive Board of the PRCUA headed by President James Robaczewski, Vice President Micheline Jaminski and Secretary-Treasurer Agnieszka Bastrzyk.
The Museum staff briefly presented the museum collection gathered in the Paderewski Room, the Gallery and the Main Hall. Guests were delighted with the richness of the assemblage. The visit ended with a group photo in front of the historical painting by Stanisław Batowski "Pulaski at Savannah."

W dniu dzisiejszym Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce (MPA) gościło delegację w składzie: prezes Stowarzyszenia Wspólnota Polska, pan Dariusz Piotr Bonisławski wraz ze współpracownikami, przedstawicielami TVP i Polsatu, przedstawicielami samorządów w Polsce. (Katarzyna Czyżycka - dyrektor programowy Ośrodka Doskonalenia Nauczycieli Stowarzyszenia "Wspólnota Polska, Jacek Wiśniowski - burmistrz Lidzbarka Warmińskiego, przedstawiciel polskich samorządowców; Marek Zając - sekretarz Międzynarodowej Rady Oświęcimskiej przy Premierze RP, szef Polsat Rodzin; Agnieszka Oszczyk - dziennikarka i publicystka TVP; Zenona Bańkowska - dyrektor zarządzający Stowarzyszenia "Wspólnota Polska", Agnieszka Kaczmarczyk - trener ODN SWP, trener KLANZA. Delegacja przybyła do USA w ramach projektu "Z Kopernikiem przez świat", którego inauguracja nastąpi w sobotę 11 lutego 2023 r., w Copernicus Center.
Przybyłych do budynku Zjednoczenia Polskiego Rzymsko-Katolickiego w Ameryce (ZPRKA) i siedziby Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce gości przywitał prezes MPA Richard Owsiany. Delegacja odwiedziła biuro ZPRKA i spotkała się z Zarządem Zjednoczenia na czele z prezesem Jamesem Robaczewskim, obecne były Micheline Jamińska i Agnieszka Bastrzyk.
Pracownicy Muzeum zaprezentowali w dużym skrócie muzealną kolekcję zgromadzoną w Pokoju Paderewskiego, Galerii i Sali Głównej. Goście wyrażali się z zachwytem nad bogactwem zbiorów. Ze względu na napięty grafik, spotkanie zakończyło się wspólnym zdjęciem przed historycznym obrazem pędzla Stanisława Batowskiego „Pułaski pod Savannah”.
