Actress Katarzyna Figura Visits the PMA
The Polish Museum of America had the pleasure of welcoming Katarzyna Figura, a well-known Polish actress. Ms. Figura, visiting Chicago for the “Ball with the Stars Na Polskim Trójkącie” organized by Wydawnictwo Evergreen, toured our collections and showed great interest in the history, art and heritage preserved at the PMA.

WWI Living History Lesson
On November 15, 2025, the Polish Museum of America hosted an immersive living history lesson that brought the history of Poland’s struggle for independence back to life! In collaboration with historical educators Marek Rowicki and Rafał Drwięga, guests had the opportunity to explore the stories, artifacts, and experiences that shaped Poland’s struggle for independence during WWI.
