Artist Piotr Antonow’s led a hands on workshop, “Secrets of the Charcoal Portrait”, this past Saturday, August 26 2017.
Artists of all skills, and those who said “why not?” – were all welcome to try their hand at recreating their perception of a human figure on paper, under the wings of Piotr Antonow and their peers.
Antonow, who currently resides in Chicago, has studied the arts in Krakow, the Chicago Art Institute, and the Evanston Art Center. He continues to develop the cultural legacy of both Krakow and Chicago, by creating custom portraits which are filled with vivid color, a signature trait of his works, and now by passing on his knowledge to future generations of artists.
HE HAS TAKEN PART IN MANY EXHIBITIONS WORLDWIDE. HIS WORKS HAVE BEEN SHOWN IN GALLERIES SUCH AS: DREAMBOX, DESIGN CLOUD, PETER JONES AND ART CENTER IN HIGHLAND PARK.
