The Battle of Warsaw, Polish Armed Forces Day, and the Assumption of Mary
On August 15, the Polish Museum of America honors important occasions in Polish history and tradition. It commemorates the Battle of Warsaw of 1920, known as the “Miracle on the Vistula,” when Polish forces halted the advance of the Red Army, securing Poland’s independence and influencing the future of Europe.

Guild of the Balzekas Museum Visits PMA
On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the Polish Museum of America had the pleasure of welcoming a group from the Guild of the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture. The group began their day with a visit to the Ukrainian National Museum and, after lunch, toured the Polish Museum of America.
