Today, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, rescue workers, volunteers, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage and compassion in the face of tragedy.
Labor Day Closure – PMA & PRCUA
In observance of Labor Day, the Polish Museum of America and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026. We will reopen and welcome everyone back on Tuesday, September 8.
September 1, 1939: We Remember
On September 1, the Polish Museum of America solemnly commemorates the 87th anniversary of the German invasion of Poland in 1939, which marked the beginning of World War II.
