Fat Thursday at the PMA
On February 12, we celebrate Fat Thursday (Tłusty Czwartek), a beloved Polish tradition marking the last Thursday before Lent. On this day, tables across Poland are filled with pączki – rich, pillowy doughnuts traditionally filled with rosehip jam, plum preserves, or custard – and other sweet treats.
