ART FOR HEART debuted as a fundraising art show benefiting two well-known Chicago institutions: The Polish Museum of America and Gift from the Heart Foundation/Dar Serca. This year, Art for Heart promises to return for its ninth year even bigger and better!! Art for Heart 2019 is proud to present Chicago’s talented Polish and Polish-American artists and share their works with the community. The exhibit, showcasing the latest works by renowned contemporary Polish and Polish-American Artists, runs between Sept 7th and 21st; at the Polish Museum of America (984 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60642).
The Opening celebration takes place Saturday, Sept 7th from 7-11 p.m. Meet the artists and enjoy a night surrounded beautiful art, warm people, lively music, tasty appetizers, and a cash bar. Tickets are available at www.artforheartchicago.org; and will be available for $20 at the door or online. All original artwork will be available for sale. Souvenir program books will be available (while supplies last) featuring the hosting institutions, all the artists and the official Art for Heart 2019 sponsors.
100% of the net proceeds from Art for Heart will jointly benefit Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) and The Polish Museum of America.

Gift from the Heart Foundation, or Dar Serca, is a non-profit 501 (c) organization that helps children with disabilities receive the medical treatment that they urgently need. The Foundation brings seriously ill and disabled children from European countries to the US and helps them receive high-quality medical care and treatments that are unattainable in their home countries. Over the past 32 years, Gift from the Heart Foundation has helped over 900 children receive modern medical treatments from the highest-quality clinics in the United States.
The Polish Museum of America is one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States and offers visitors a range of exhibits, resources and activities related to Polish history, culture and heritage, as well as Polish-American history. Its all-inclusive exhibits and cultural events are both educational and entertaining while supporting the entire community. It’s Library and extensive Archives have rendered invaluable services to historians, researchers, students and genealogists.

Wystawa „Sztuka dla serca 2019” (”Art for Heart 2019”) na rzecz Fundacji Dar Serca i Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce
„Sztuka dla serca 2019″ – dwa tygodnie sztuki współczesnej na rzecz Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce (MPA) i Fundacji Dar Serca: 7 września (sobota) – 21 września (sobota) 2019 r.
W 2011 roku „Sztuka dla serca” („Art for Heart”) zadebiutowała jako charytatywna wystawa sztuki wspierająca dwie znane fundacje chicagowskie: Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce i Dar Serca. W tym roku wystawa ta powraca dziewiąty raz jako jeszcze większe i wspanialsze przedsięwzięcie, które rozpocznie się 7 września i będzie trwać do 21 września. Organizatorzy wystawy „Sztuka dla serca 2019” będą mieli zaszczyt przedstawić wybitnie uzdolnionych polonijnych artystów oraz zaprezentować ich prace szerokiej publiczności. Dwutygodniowa wystawa potrwa od 7 do 21 sierpnia 2019 r.; w Muzeum Polskim w Ameryce (984 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60642).
Uroczyste otwarcie wystawy przewidziane jest w sobotę 7 września, od 19:00 do 23:00 w MPA. Z tej okazji odbędzie się specjalne przyjęcie, któremu towarzyszyć będzie dobra muzyka, przekąski i płatny bar. Zachęcamy wszystkich do przybycia, spędzenia miłego wieczoru wśrod polskiej sztuki i poznania artystów. Muzeum mieści się przy 984 N. Milwaukee Avenue w Chicago. Bilety będą dostępne w cenie 20$ na www.artforheartchicago.org; i przy wejściu, liczba miejsc ograniczona. Wszystkie wystawione oryginały będą przeznaczone na sprzedaż. Wystawie towarzyszyć będzie katalog opisujący artystów, sponsorów i fundacje będące organizatorami wystawy.
Cały dochód przeznaczony zostanie na rzecz Fundacji Dar Serca i MPA.

Fundacja Dar Serca jest organizacją charytatywną, umożliwiającą leczenie ciężko chorym i niepełnosprawnym dzieciom z Polski i innych krajów Europy, które nie mają szans na pomoc u siebie. W ciągu trzydziestu dwóch lat działalności fundacja ta przyjęła i zaopiekowała się ponad 900 dziećmi, które dzięki temu odbyły leczenie w nowoczesnych klinikach.
Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce jest jednym z najstarszych i największych muzeów etnicznych w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
