Helena Sromek, age 78, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer.

He was a Polish pharmacist, engineer, businessman and philanthropist. The year 2022 has been designated by the Parliament of the Republic of Poland as the year of Jan Ignacy Lukasiewicz.
