We recently welcomed Jeff Turkowski, Director of the Kashubian Cultural Institute & Polish Museum in Winona, MN, along with Polish-American students preparing for a cultural exchange trip to Poland. Remembering Witold Gombrowicz: A Literary Pioneer
On July 25, we commemorate the death anniversary of Witold Gombrowicz, one of Poland’s most prolific writers-in-exile. Born on August 4, 1904, Gombrowicz passed away in Vence, France, on July 25, 1969. A novelist, playwright, and essayist, he remains one of the most exceptional figures in the history of literature.
