The Polish Museum of America and the PMA Library will be closed on November 10, 2023, in honor of Veterans Day. We deeply appreciate the contributions of Polish-American veterans and those currently serving.
Digitizing Dziennik dla wszystkich: Polish Genealogy Resource
On Nov. 6, 2023, Jeff Kelch began digitizing "Dziennik dla wszystkich", a significant resource for Polish American genealogy in Buffalo, NY, from 1907 to 1957. Sponsored by PGSNYS (pgsnys.online). In spring 2023, 16,127 pages from 1942-1944 were digitized, with plans for quarterly issues from 1941 and 1945-1948.
9th PIASA Conference on Polish Studies
At the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in America (PIASA) Midwestern Conference on December 2, 1942, the Archives and Museum of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) – now the Polish Museum of America (PMA), hosted a closed session for the Commission for Research on Polish Immigration.

CHM Meeting
The Polish Museum of America recently met with Erica Griffin, the director of education at the Chicago History Museum, to discuss partnership opportunities for the CHM's exhibition project, Back/Home: Polish Chicago. During the meeting, the PMA staff and CHM explored various strategies for school programs and public and community engagement.
