The Polish Museum of America was visited today by Minister Jacek Czaputowicz from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Polish Ambassador to the U. S. Piotr Wilczek. Welcoming both were officers and staff of the PMA and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America.
The looming clouds of war were nearing in 1939. But Poland held onto its optimism at the World’s Fair in New York City, themed “The World of Tomorrow.” The optimism and hope presented at the Polish Pavilion showcased the finest Poland offered in the arts, crafts, agriculture, sciences, and commerce.
